Pfhred 1.3.1, a Marathon Shape Editor
It offers the following features to edit the Shapes file with:
- Pasting of new pictures into a shapes file.
- Copying of old pictures out of a shapes file.
- Modifying how an animation occurs, such as time between frames, or
the the sounds to be associated with the animation.
- Addition of new animation groups, like assembling a real animation
for attack Bobs
- Addition of more walls, don't just replace them, add more!
- Clut Management. Rearrange cluts, change colors, add more variations.
Can even Load and Save Cluts in a way Photoshop can now use.
- Viewing of the shapes in relation to their direction and frame,
-Rotate a given shape left or right as allowable
-Step through the frames of a shape, getting a feel for how it
animates.
- Ability to view the shape scaled, see what it looks like far away
or up close and personal.
- Display of where the keypoint and origin of a shape lie, and the
ability to drag them to new locations.
- Changing a single field for a creature to resize all of
the creature's graphics. (ie, Giant Bob's and midget Pfhor)
Version 1.3.1 fixes a number of bugs with Pfhred including the long running biggy
of improperly dealing with cluts that intereferd with cutting and pasting between
windows within Pfhred.
NOTE: I do not yet know whether or not Pfhred works properly in color modes
beyond 256 colors, however the fix for the pasting is a good candidate for fixing
problems beyond 256 colors as well. Feel free to try it and let me know.
